Holiday Season typically represents festivities, family, and an abundance of wonderful foods, sweet treats, and gifts. However, to many people the Holiday Season is a time that is laden with sorrow and heartache. Many suffer from the loss of a loved one, unemployment, a torn and dysfunctional family unit, battles with depression, physical disease, or just the loss of hope and faith in one’s life. When one loses sight of their purpose on this earth, and loses hope and faith, this is the beginning of an emotional death.
Our lives here on this earth are a part of a much larger purpose. We each have a unique and divine purpose here on this earth. We have been blessed with gifts that are meant to be shared with others. What is your gift? Your gift is something that comes easily to you and hard for others, and something that you enjoy immensely. Some people have the gift of listening, kindness, hospitality, cooking, sewing, music, writing, cleaning, organizing, or taking the time to discover your divine purpose.
Finding your divine purpose is a process and requires you to make a lifestyle change. This lifestyle change may require you to let go of some of the negative people within your life who refuse to encourage you, or believe in your dreams. This Holiday Season my gift to you is simply reminding you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You were created for a purpose and a divine plan. This new year may I encourage you to take the time to discover who your creator is, and find your unique gift that your heavenly Father has so graciously given to you. Take the time and enjoy the You Tube clips below, songs that are sung by the dynamic husband and wife team Deitrick & Damita Haddon, reminding us all that our life’s journey is a part of a broader design.
Peace and Blessings
Until next Year,
