It's Okay Ask Him!

Some of us may be unclear about the extraordinary power of prayer. Prayers are your direct line to the heavens, and the designated time when you can become completely transparent before your Heavenly King; without the fear of rejection or judgement.

Within this designated time of communication with your Heavenly Father, you are able to present the desires of your heart, concerns, needs, confessions and praises.

Lately, I have had the opportunity to listen to other people's perception of prayer time. Some may feel hesitant to take their every need to God in prayer. Some believers still feel too unworthy to ask God for their deepest desires.

It's okay to ask and share even the most simple need. He really does care about the missing button that fell off your garment, when you desperately need to find it (I'm a witness!).

My Heavenly Father has truly stepped in and helped me with my chaotic life.

He searches your mind and heart. He knows and understands. God is just waiting for us to present our request to Him. So remember, don't be ashamed, it's okay to ask Him. Your Heavenly Father is waiting and listening.

Peace and Blessings

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).

Count Your Blessings

Count Your Blessings

Yes...I know. We have all heard of the trite cliche' called "counting your blessings." Only it's not just a trite cliche'. It is a phrase that offers tangible, sound advice that has become relevant to our present day struggles.

I t becomes very easy to compare ourselves to those who are seemingly higher on the success ladder than ourselves. When we fall into the trap of insecurity; we immediately develop feelings of inadequacy and failure. Most of us fail to see the many blessings within our own lives.

Discovering our blessings can be easily accomplished when we take our eyes off of ourselves, and begin to serve those who are less fortunate than us. And only at the place of servitude, can we clearly see the array of blessings that our Heavenly Father has bestowed in each of our lives.

Take the time to listen to someone less fortunate than yourself. You will find that everyone has a compelling life story. You will become richly blessed and inspired by a person's personal testimony of how they have prevailed through the heartache and tragedy that once plagued their lives.

Ask God to be the lifter of your head, and to give you His peace and happiness, because you are truly blessed!

Isaiah 58:9b-11a (TEV) If you put an end to oppression, to every gesture of contempt, and to every evil word; if you give food to the hungry and satisfy those who are in need, then the darkness around you will turn to the brightness of noon. And I will always guide you and satisfy you with good things. I will keep you strong and well.
