Have you ever observed a couple who are seemingly an odd match, but are extremely in love. You may ask yourself; what can he possibly see in her? Or what can she possibly see in him?
Love is a peculiar and powerful emotion. True love can actually blind, and veils a person’s flaws. Love enables the heart, mind, and soul of a person to shine.
Genuine love trumps the concept of physical perfection that continues to pervade our modern society. True love understands that when the outer wanes all that remains is the heart, mind, and soul of the person that we fell in love with so long ago. And if the heart and soul of a person is murky and soiled, there is very little to cling onto. Hence the disconnect between many couples today.
Then there is the experience of a heavenly love. This precious love can only be received from our Heavenly Father; who is the author of love.
As humans we can only grasp a fraction of the way in which our Heavenly King adores us. It is truly beyond our finite humanness.
His love is not blind; He sees are flaws and our frail human condition. And still yearns to be our savior, comforter, and healer.
This is what the apostle Paul writes about God’s love. “While we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:6)
I don’t know about you; but I’m not going to die for a murderer or a child molester. I don’t possess this type of boundless, heavenly love. But our savior, Jesus Christ died for this world while it was still in its filthy, sinful state. This is truly an extraordinary love!
Peace and Blessings,

Psalms 139:23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Camille, I'm still dumbfounded by the way God spoke to me when He instructed me to give you that one book. I thought it might be my own thoughts. I don't know why He would speak to me because I'm not worthy. I think I understand now. He wants you to use your extraordinary gift of writing for His glory. All I pray is for God to never ever let me go... Like a child that wants to run out on the street to play, I pray He holds on to me tight because He Loves me so much! I pray I can be like the deer that pants for the water and that my soul always longs for Him. I enjoyed reading your blog. God Bless. -FRED M.
