SPIRITUAL JOURNEY
Abraham and Noah were apart of the elect in the Bible who had the privilege and honor to walk with God.
Both men demonstrated extraordinary faith by allowing God to direct them in a path and way that was completely unknown and foreign to them.
Noah spent years diligently building an ark for a tremendous flood that was to destroy the entire earth. Noah and his family were obedient to God’s instructions despite the constant ridicule from people, and the fact that he had never seen one drop of rain prior to his instructions from God to build an ark.
Abraham left his homeland and family for a distant, promised land that he had yet to see. And was told by God that one day, he would possess a prosperous land and become the father of a mighty nation. At the time, when he was told he would become a father of a mighty nation, Abraham was yet to be a father of even one child. But Abraham still demonstrated great faith and trust in his God.
As believers we know that all of these events came to pass in Noah and Abraham's life. Yet, at the time when God asked them to utilize their faith and trust in Him, they were unable to clearly see God’s plan for their lives. However, they were still willing to trust and obey God without the clarity of their future.
The Bible states that the steps of a righteous man are ordered by God.
Psalms 23: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
I have a plethora of examples when I knew that my Heavenly Father walked beside me and held my hand in the most horrible situations. Making decisions without my God at the forefront has always yielded disastrous results.
Walking with God simply means that your mind, body, soul, and spirit are completely aligned with your Creator. And this is when your steps naturally begin to follow His illuminated path that has been etched for each of us in this dark and entangled world.
Begin to walk with Him Today. You will enjoy your life’s journey knowing that He is by your side.
Blessings,
